Neil Ross is our special guest for an extended interview that covers Neil's career, his experience working on Voltron, and some special stories that no one has ever heard before. Neil also answers the questions everyone sent in before the recording, but unfortunately, he was unable to do the entire interview in Keith's voice, as some of you would have preferred.
After the interview, we had some breaking news about the 15-foot Voltron Statue that has a temporary home at the St. Louis Science Center, until the end of September. If you happen to be in the St. Louis area in the next 6 weeks, go to the St. louis Science Center to check it out and get your picture taken with Voltron. You can send your picture to @Voltron on Twitter, and make sure you use #Voltron30 in the tweet.
As a reminder, we also mentioned we will be accepting the “Show Us Your Voltron” photos @LetsVoltron on Twitter or by email at letsvoltronpodcast@gmail.com. Take a picture of you in your Voltron Gear, and try to impress our judge, Chris Wofford, from Acidfree Gallery, who will be giving away a METAL Limited Edition Voltron 30th Anniversary Print to the winner, which will be announced on the podcast on September 10. Entries must be submitted by September 6.
80's Tees has 4 new Voltron T-Shirts available for sale at their website, 80stees.com.
One last thing we mentioned was the WeLoveFine.com Voltron Design Contest. They completed the submission period and are now in the rating period. Make your voice heard! Go here and press the 'Rate Designs Now' button to make ratings of 1 to 5 on any of the over 80 submitted designs. Ratings will close on August 26th!
